What is Quillix Web?

Quillix Web is the distributed input source to the Quillix Server's capture workflow. Using the latest in Web application design and XML technology, Quillix Web provides authorized remote end users with an easy-to-use scanning, indexing and image viewing application that loads directly into their Web browsers over the Internet.

The Quillix Web thin client application automatically downloads to the end user's Web browser whenever he or she logs into Quillix. This is where Quillix Web's ability to access work queues set up in the capture workflow is invaluable. For example, Quillix Web allows one person in one city to perform the initial scanning of a paper document, while a second person in another city performs the indexing using another instance of Quillix Web. The receiving system will then be able to recognize the images together as a document once they are released from the Quillix Server, thereby completing the capture workflow.
