Without Quillix Fax, incoming faxes present a capture problem for two reasons. They often arrive in an organization as paper from fax machines. And with multiple fax lines, they arrive in very large volume. Because of these reasons, scanning and indexing paper faxes by traditional means can be costly and time consuming.

But with enterprise fax servers, the paper goes away. Quillix Fax takes advantage of the fax server to capture a fax and turn it into a set of document images without ever printing it.

Once it is configured through Quillix Server Manager, Quillix Fax works 24x7 without the need for end user intervention.

Fax Server Compatibility

Quillix Fax works with the enterprise fax servers from two different vendors: RightFAX version 7.0 and later from Captaris Inc. and FAXCOM Server 5.0 from Biscom Inc. The versions of the Quillix Fax input source that work with each fax server are included with every Quillix Fax purchase.
