Quillix ADP:
Automated Forms and Document Processing
The Quillix ADP (Automated Document Processing)
QSX module is an optional processing
component that allows remote and centralized users to
scan documents and insert the images into the Quillix
Capture Workflow without indexing them right then and
there. Later in the capture workflow, at the Quillix
Server during Batch-Level processing, Quillix ADP
performs the indexing automatically using advanced data
recognition and forms processing technology.
Documents
may be scanned or imported using any Quillix Input Source.
At the Quillix Server, the Quillix ADP recognition engine
detects and reads important data within each image (after
optional image clean-up) in order to intelligently group
images into documents and create indexing values.
Recognition
The Quillix ADP recognition engine can read:
- OCR numbers
- machine print
- handprint
- mark sense
- bar codes
- patch code document separators
- bar code document separators
- blank page document separators
- isolated characters
- semi constrained characters
- unconstrained characters
Routing and Exception Handling
Quillix ADP rules define processing confidence levels
and exception handling that allow the images that Quillix
ADP processes to be routed automatically to different
events and queues in the capture workflow.
Verification
For processing verification, Quillix ADP works in conjunction
with the Quillix Web Client's Verify Mode. Any local
or remote users with the proper Quillix
Web access privileges may access the capture workflow
queues designated to collect documents with images that
fall below Quillix ADP's processing confidence.
The End Result
In the end, Quillix ADP represents the happy consequence
of effectively combining distributed document capture,
data recognition and extraction, and workflow technologies.
