In-the-Workflow Indexing
LiveBatch is a tightly integrated in-the-workflow
indexing tool for Acorde™ that allows users to index
batches of scanned documents that have been placed into
Acorde as workflow packages by Quillix Pro. With the
LiveBatch Agent and the ActiveAgent
Server indexed batches are automatically filed away
and/or routed to another process in the workflow.
LiveBatch is particularly useful in centralized mailrooms
where incoming mail is opened and distributed based
on its content, for example. In a workflow environment,
incoming mail must be opened and scanned in the mailroom
and then electronically distributed. It takes time to
identify the mail’s content (indexing), which slows
down the capture process and ultimately slows the entire
workflow process.
Using Quillix Pro with LiveBatch in this way increases
the speed of the overall process by allowing scan operators
to focus on the high-speed capture of the paper with
Quillix Pro, while allowing knowledge workers downstream
in the workflow process to analyze the content and assign
appropriate indexes with LiveBatch.
